MEDIA ADVISORY - Today: Unifor stresses need for investment

TORONTO, Feb. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Unifor Ontario Regional Director Katha Fortier will be speaking today before the Ontario government's Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs, in pre-budget consultations.

Fortier will stress the importance of restoring and enhancing public programs in the upcoming provincial budget, and will recommend specific measures the government can take to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality education, health care, child care and social and community services.
