Media Advisory - Union representing crown corporations' workers available for budget comment

REGINA, June 1, 2016 /CNW/ - The union representing most of the workers employed by Saskatchewan's Crown corporations will be available for comment following the tabling of the provincial budget.

"Accounting isn't this government's strong suit, so we'll be watching closely how the budget represents crown revenues and dividends," said Susan Saunders, Unifor National Representative.

Unifor is Canada's largest union in the private sector, representing more than 310,000 workers. It was formed Labour Day weekend 2013 when the Canadian Auto Workers and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers unions merged.
