Retirement is not the end of union activity for Unifor members. Retired workers are an important part of Unifor’s political and community activities with retirees continued involvement and representation enshrined in Unifor’s constitution. The Retired Workers department provides assistance to retired Unifor members while helping to set-up and maintain existing Retired Workers Chapters and Retired Workers Area Councils throughout the country.
Save the date! The next Annual Unifor Retired Workers Council will be held at the Unifor Family Education Centre (115 Shipley Avenue in Port Elgin, Ontario) from Sunday, September 5, 2027 to Friday, September 10, 2027.
