Dear Members,

Your bargaining committees met with the employer to start national bargaining during this last week of January 20 to 24. While we where able to address a few small items there is still a substantive amount of issues that need to be address.

As we expected, it was tough round of bargaining. DHL Express Canada wants to change many aspects of the agreement; however, we will continue to stand in solidarity and fight hard for what our members told their bargaining committees are most important to them – substantial wage increases, addressing working conditions that reflect respect for the bargaining unit workers and the collective agreement contract in place.

We do not have dates for our next round of bargaining with the employer at this time, but will continue the bargaining process in the coming months.

Thank you for your solidarity and patience as we continue the process with a goal to negotiate a fair and equitable collective agreement.

When we show how united and strong we are in our solidarity, we show the employer how hard we are willing to fight to get the pay and working conditions we deserve.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to a member of your local bargaining committee.

Thank you for your support and we will keep you informed of any new updates as they arise.

In solidarity,

DHL National Bargaining Committee
