Unifor members, leaders, and supporters will unite in strength and solidarity at the Protect Canadian Jobs Rally on Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Riverfront Festival Plaza in Windsor, Ontario.

“Workers are in the fight of our lives. Trump’s trade war is already triggering layoffs, killing jobs, and causing damage to future investment,” said Unifor National President Lana Payne. “U.S. tariffs threaten jobs across all sectors. This is a battle to defend the livelihoods of every Canadian worker.”

Buses loaded with Unifor members from Brampton, Ingersoll, Kitchener, London, Oakville, Oshawa, St. Catharines, and Toronto will roll into Windsor, where they’ll rally alongside local members and supporters. Together, we’ll stand up to unfair U.S. tariffs and defend Canadian jobs and economic sovereignty.

Can’t attend in person? Join the rally online. Watch the livestream on the Protect Canadian Jobs website or via Unifor’s Facebook page.

The U.S. has slammed Canada with harmful tariffs on steel, aluminum, softwood lumber, and the auto sector. These attacks aim to undermine our industries, weaken our economy, and strip away our jobs. Unifor calls on Canadians to fight back and demand fair treatment.

Powerful voices will take the stage, including:

  • Lana Payne, Unifor National President
  • Samia Hashi, Unifor Ontario Regional Director
  • Bea Bruske, Canadian Labour Congress President
  • Unifor members from key sectors: auto, energy, forestry, and health care

Stand with us. Speak out. Show your support.
