And now, after two years of prep, Bill 124 hearings began on Monday September 12, 2022. The hearings will run Monday-Friday from September 12-23.

Your deposition at the Parliamentary Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities on August 19 2022 was eye opening. The narrative of the opposition that nothing has been done to alleviate the issue is simply not true. The government narrative that enough has been done is not true either.

I followed with great interest the details of your remarks to the Empire Club on June 16, regarding rising inflation and the affordability crisis that afflicts many working families in Canada.

TORONTO- Unifor pledges to be a strong workers’ opposition to Doug Ford’s conservatives following a majority win in the 2022 provincial election.

EDMONTON—After Jason Kenney’s snap resignation, working people in Alberta are eager to move on to elect a new premier who will stand up for their rights and create a more equal province, says Unifor.

This weekend is one of the most significant in the Ontario Election.

The price of food, gasoline and other consumer goods is rising fast — faster, it seems, than most workers’ wages can keep up. Average prices rose by 6.7% last month, compared with the year prior. Average wages, on the other hand, fell by 1.6%.

Most economists seem confounded by the root cause of inflation.
